Aguero is leaving Man City at the end of the season
Sergio Aguero is ending his 10-year relationship with Manchester City. The 32-year-old Argentine striker’s contract expires at the end of this season.
Aguero said he no longer wanted to renew the contract.
Regarding Aguero’s departure from Manchester City, Chairman Khaldun al-Mubarak said: “Aguero’s contribution to Manchester City in the last 10 years cannot be explained by statistics.
The legendary Aguero will forever be remembered by those who love Man City or those who love football. ’
The star striker joined Manchester City from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
He has played 384 matches for the Sky Blues in the last 10 years. He has scored a record 257 goals.
Aguero was one of the drivers of Mancity’s recent revival. City won the English Premier League title 44 years later in 2012 with a last-minute goal against Queens Park Rangers.
Aguero has won Manchester City three more Premier League titles, one FA Cup and five League Cups.
