Goalkeeper Ian Samer jumps to the right of the English midfielder’s volley. In the next minute, City goalkeeper Ederson returned the shot of Brill Embolo and kept the net intact.

Day Bruin’s excellent goal in the twelfth minute gave City the lead. The Belgian midfielder hit a powerful left-footed shot from outside the D-box near Riyad Mahrez. The ball lands on the bottom of the crossbar and gets caught in the net.

The interval is doubled in the eighteenth minute. Foden passed with the ball from almost midfield in front of the D-box. Gindoan got inside and beat the goalkeeper with a low shot from his right foot.

The German midfielder, City’s top scorer this season, has scored 15 goals in all competitions.

In the 35th minute, Sameer sent the ball to De Bruyne’s free kick with one hand over the crossbar. The Swiss goalkeeper returned Mahrez’s shot in the 66 minute with great efficiency.

Veteran Rahim Sterling, Sergio Aguero, came in as a substitute in the second half; However, they could not create any significant opportunity. Monsieur Gladbach also failed to challenge.
