Manchester United versus Man city highlight….

Former Manchester City wi’nger Trevor Sincla’ir has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo got away with a “coward’s challe’nge” on Kevin De Bruyne.

The 36-year-old cut a frus’trated figure for much of the aft’ernoon as Manchester United fell to a humbling 2-0 defeat to t’heir local rivals.

It was Ronaldo’s 1st Man’chester derby since returning to the Red Devils after 12 years aw’ay at the start of the seas’on.

But he failed to h”ave any influence on the game as Ma’n City dictated, dominated and dis’mantled the hosts at Old Traff”ord.

With the minutes wind’ing down and United unab’le to get any possession, the Port’uguese forward was cauti’oned for a late tackle on City ace De Bru’yne.

The Belgian midfiel’der had already been floored by Bruno Fernandes before Ron’aldo went in with an even later tackle.

Michael Oliver dec’ided it was a yellow-card offen’ce, but Sinclair felt it could have warran’ted a straight red.

“That’s a chea’p one,” fo’rmer City winger Sinclair told talkSPORT. “The chall’enge initially went in from Ferna’ndes, and as he’s down on the floor after being fouled, Ronaldo launches into that.
