Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘mocking’ reaction to Mohamed Salah goal comes to light

Cristiano Ronaldo cut a frus’trated figure through’out Manchester Unit’ed’s ‘ to Liverp’ool and video footag’e has now emerged showing the superstar flai’ling h’is arms in a mock’ing man’ner.

Cristiano ” could be seen furiously ‘moc’king’ som’eone follow’ing one of Mo Sal’ah’s goals in Liverpool ’s demol’ition of Manchest’er Unit’ed.

The Portugu’ese super’star cut a frustra’ted figure ‘throu’ghout ‘ mat’ch which’ saw his United side humiliated by fierce rivals Liverpool in a 5-0 rout.

Rona’ldo ‘ ou’t at Liverp’ool’s Curtis Jones as his tem’per boiled over with his side trailing by 4 goals shortly before half time.

United’s iconic number 7 then saw a strike of hi’s own ruled out by VAR for off’side ear’ly in the se’cond ha’lf.

Mo Salah netted a Liver’pool hat-trick follo’wing early strikes by Naby Ke’ita and Dio’go Jota as United’s Paul Po’gba received his march’ing ord’ers for a reckless second-half lunge.

Video foota’ge has now eme’rged showi’ng that follo’wing one of Salah’s strikes, 5-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronald’o gestic’ulated in a mock’ing ma’nner.

In response to Salah find’ing the net for Liver’pool, Ronaldo could be seen standing with ‘his shoulders sl’umped befor’e flailing his arms arou’nd and f’uriously pointing in all direc’tions.

It is unclea’r who Ron’aldo’s mocking reaction was aimed at or what he was referen’cing within his gesticulat’ions.

Some have specu”lated that the Portug’uese winger may have been referring to his ‘manager’s tactics after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer op’ted to press Jurgen Kl’opp’s side.

United’s tact’ical approach drew widesp’read criti’cism as Liverpool found it easy to play out from the back and broke through the Red Devils’ press time and time again.

Another belief is t’hat Ro”naldo was expressin’g his frustrations at his side’s defence,” which looked a disorga’nised mess with L’iverpool pulling United’s back-line out of shape and pos’ition with ease.

It has also be’en spe’culated that his outburst was aimed at a fellow teammate, perhaps Bruno Fernandes, follo’wing a str’ing of way’ward pass’es.

And Ronaldo’s frustra’tions don’t end there with it appearing that United’s returning he’ro has repor’tedly bec’ome irritated with teamm’ate Mason Greenwood, accord’ing to ESPN.

The 36-year-old is under’stood to have grown frus’trated with the Unit’ed you’ngsters’ tendency to shoot inst’ead of passi’ng to teamm’ates.

Despite ma’nager Solsk’jaer taking full respons’ibility for Sunday’s humiliat’ing defeat, Ronaldo took to social m’edia to suggest it was the players wh’o wer’e acco’untable for the dam’ning res’ult.
