Juventus Cristiano Ronaldo Hangover Doesn’t Look Like Ending Any Time Soon !

It has been an aw’ful start to the new Serie A season for Juv’entus. The defe’at again’st Napoli last Satur’day meant the Bianc’oneri have picked up just one point out of 9.

The 36 time Serie A cham’pions appear to be having a  Ronaldo hangov’er after the Portuguese striker left in the sum’mer for Manche’ster Unit’ed.

The 36 time Serie A cham’pions appear to be having a Cristia’no Ronaldo hango’ver after the Portugu’ese striker left in the summer for Manch’ester United.

They did mana’ge a mo’rale-boostin’g win against Mal’mo in the Champi’ons League but is that a sign that they have turned the corner or are there deeper underly’ing probl’ems than simply Cristiano Ronaldo leavi ng the club.

Losing a player like  Ronaldo was alway’s going to have a big impact on Juve’ntus. It is no’t only the goals that they will miss but also his influenc’e in the dressi’ng room.

There have been some people saying that Cristiano Ronaldo hind’ered Juvent’us and the way they wanted to play. How’ever, the stats don’t back that theor’y up. Last season, Cristiano Ronaldo was Juvent’us’s top goal’scorer with 29 goals in Serie A.

Last season’s stru’ggles weren’t down to Cristiano Ronaldo but more the players arou’nd him. Also, the manager, Andr’ea Pirlo, didn’t seem to be able to get his style and way of play’ing across.

The squad also app’ears to be lacking an ident’ity. Juven’tus want to become a younger squad and have brought in young talents such as Matthijs de Ligt, Weston McKennie, and Manuel Locat’elli. but at the same time.

the old guard remai’ns with the likes of Leona’rdo Bon’ucci and Giorgio Chie’llini.

Juventus need to de’cide on a way of playing and stick to it after the failed experim’ents of Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo a’nd refind their ident’ity.
