Kroos out of the field for injured

Toni Kroos is not playing in this World Cup qualifier. The German midfielder got injured and dropped out of the field.

 

The injury was reported by the party in a Twitter message on Tuesday. The 31-year-old Real Madrid star will return to Spain.

 

Germany will face visiting Iceland next Thursday in their first match of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

 

Three days later, Joachim Loew’s team will face Romania. The world champions will play against the visiting North Macedonia on March 31, 2014.

 

 

Kroos’s injury has also been a concern for Real. He is one of the best performers of the team in the season. Karim Benzema’s two goals were instrumental in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Celta Vigo in La Liga.

 

The Madrid team will seek his recovery in the midst of a two-week international break. Zinedine Zidane’s opponent in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on April 6 and 14 is Liverpool. In the middle of the league on April 10, their arch-rivals Barcelona.
