French car company Renault has presented official photos of the new electric hatchback 5 Turbo 3E 2025. The vehicle is a modern interpretation of the legendary sports cars of the 1980s, which became famous for their success in rally racing.
The designers have completely preserved the DNA of the original sports car, but adapted it to the electric era.
The appearance of the new product demonstrates a futuristic approach with the preservation of retro elements. The design uses modern technological solutions, including a carbon body, which provides high rigidity and low weight. Particular attention is drawn to the design of the rear, where one of the air intakes is equipped with a modern charging port.
The power plant is impressive in its characteristics. Two electric motors located on the rear wheels develop a total of more than 680 hp. This configuration allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.5 seconds, which is comparable to the performance of supercars. The drive is carried out only on the rear wheels.
